The Setu Chair’s function and contours were shaped by the changing world around us. We work collaboratively in a variety of less formal spaces, moving around more and more throughout the day. As we’re expected to work anywhere and everywhere, we need furniture that can keep up. Designed by the Berlin-based Studio 7.5, Setu was shaped by the world around us \u2014 not the other way around.
\nSetu’s dematerialized, environmentally sensitive design uses less material \u2014 only 18 pounds for the multipurpose chair \u2014 to support more people, up to 300 pounds. It includes only one adjustment, and its bumper protects and enhances the chair’s aesthetic. That single adjustment controlling the height lets anyone sit down and immediately feel at home, without needing to fiddle with knobs or levers. From the graceful curve of its ribbon arms to the durable, silver alloy base, Setu’s minimal design aesthetic and customizable nature let it blend in or serve as a focal point in any space.<\/p>\n

  • Kinematic Spine<\/strong> Setu features the Kinematic Spine, which uses two types of polypropylene to control resistance and support your weight as you recline. Without requiring adjustments, it bends and flexes with every movement \u2014 responding to your body’s natural movements and providing the same consistent experience from chair to chair.<\/li>\n
  • Intercept Suspension<\/strong> The Kinematic Spine works in concert with the breathable, temperature-neutral, and durable Intercept suspension \u2014 originally a Cosm innovation \u2014 for seamless comfort wherever you are. Designed to keep you cool and comfortable during long periods of sitting, it requires no break-in period and maintains its performance over time.<\/li>\n
  • C-Layer Suspension<\/strong> The upholstered Setu features a C-Layer Suspension that works with a variety of textiles, adding a degree of structural support to the fabric and maintaining the comfort and resilience of the seat surface across heavy use.<\/li>\n
  • Dematerialized, Environmentally Sensitive Design<\/strong> Setu uses less material than conventional office chairs to support more people. Its bumper protects and enhances the chair’s aesthetic, while the dipped-in-color option \u2014 available in one hue from top to bottom \u2014 allows Setu to complement a variety of spaces and blend harmoniously with other seating options.<\/li>\n

    General Information<\/h2>\n

    These office chairs have been refurbished. For us, \u2018refurbished\u2019 means that the chairs have been carefully checked, possibly reupholstered, fitted with new official parts, cleaned and resprayed if necessary. We try to get the condition of the chairs as good as new again.<\/p>\n
